With the objective of exploring recent theories on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and global sustainability as well as the development of perspectives on the relationship of CSR with current social and environmental issues, terravertis, the environmental and corporate responsibility experts, in cooperation with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) recently held a corporate social responsibility and sustainability training workshop at Wild Jordan Café – Amman.
The interactive 2-day course brought together 20 participants from different companies in various sectors including manufacturing, apparel, logistics, information technology, agriculture, risk consultancies, financial and educational institutions along with NGOs and governmental representatives with the unique opportunity to be exposed to the latest skills in this field along with the needed tools and competencies required to become qualified CSR professionals.
Dr. Muna Hindiyeh, Senior Sustainability Advisor at terravertis, commented: “CSR and environmental management are growing to become an instrumental and key operating component for most organizations.
